Omotesenke Domonkai Eastern Region was founded in June, 2010 as a not-for-profit, public benefit, educational organization. As a section 501(c)(3) organization, we are eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions.

As a nonprofit organization, Omotesenke Domonkai Eastern Region relies on generous contributions from individuals like you to support the Omotesenke Chanoyu, Japanese tea ceremony, and wide range of chanoyu-related activities and educational programs we offer year round. We look to our audiences and communities of supporters to help us continue providing high-quality events and activities that educate and inform our visitors on the changing nature of Omotesenke Chanoyu and its beautiful and fascinating culture, casting it in a global context.​
