Newark Museum 主催のイベント Art to celebrate the blooming of cherry blossoms では、表千家同門会米国東部支部による表千家流茶の湯バーチャルデモンストレーションを行いました。 内容は、茶の湯の歴史と精神についての短いレクチャー、表千家不審菴の5分間の動画放映、旅箪笥と釣り釜を使った薄茶点前を行、最後の質疑応答では沢山の質問に答えました。

Omotesenke Domonkai Eastern Region USA conducted a Japanese tea ceremony in a virtual demonstration of the basics of a traditional Omotesenke style Chanoyu.
This event was part of the festival celebrating the blooming of cherry blossom trees hosted by The Newark Museum. The content of this event covered 4 aspects; a short lecture on the history and the spirit of the tea ceremony, introducing Omotesenke Fushi-an by a short movie, the live demonstration of the tea ceremony, and Q&A. It was a success.
