Club Fair at Fort Hamilton High School

In October 2024, we participated in a school event at Fort Hamilton High School in Brooklyn, NY, to introduce Omotesenke's Gakko Sado "Cha-no-Yu Club." Over 250 students visited our booth to experience Matcha and traditional Japanese sweets. Many of them tried Matcha and sweets for the first time, and it was impressive to see young people from diverse backgrounds show genuine interest in Japanese culture through the tea ceremony.

We look forward to continuing to foster connections with students and teachers through tea ceremony activities in the future.

2024年10月、NYC・ブルックリンの公立高校（F.H.H.S.）で開催された学校イベントに参加し、表千家流学校茶道『茶の湯くらぶ』を紹介しました。約250名以上の生徒がブースを訪れ、お抹茶と和菓子を体験。初めて抹茶を飲む生徒も多く、様々な背景を持つ若者たちが茶道を通じて日本文化に興味を持つ姿が印象的でした。今後も校内の生徒や先生方に茶道を通じた交流を広げていきたいと思います。
