Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan 2026 Foreign Minister’s Commendation
We are honored to announce that the Omotesenke Domonkai Eastern Region USA has received the 2026 Foreign Minister’s Commendation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
Since our founding in 2010, we have been dedicated to introducing Japanese culture and promoting cultural exchange through the Way of Tea throughout the Eastern United States.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Omotesenke Iemoto, Omotesenke Domonkai Headquarters, our past and present officers, committee members, members, and all those who have supported our activities over the years.
We are deeply honored by this recognition and will continue our efforts to share and pass on the spirit and culture of the Way of Tea to future generations.
このたび、表千家同門会米国東部支部は、令和8年度外務大臣表彰を受賞いたしました。
2010年の支部発足以来、米国東部各地において、茶の湯を通じた日本文化の紹介と文化交流に取り組んでまいりました。
これまで支えてくださったお家元、表千家同門会本部、歴代の役員・委員、会員の皆様、そして活動にご協力くださった多くの皆様に、心より御礼申し上げます。
この栄誉を励みに、これからも茶の湯を通じた文化交流と次世代への継承に努めてまいります。
