Northern Valley Demarest High School

🌸Northern Valley Regional High School at Demarest first introduced the tea ceremony in 2012. In 2017, the school became officially registered as an Omotesenke Gakkō Sadō (School Tea Program) institution. Since then, tea ceremony experiences have been held annually at the end of the school year as part of the Japanese language curriculum.

Counting from before the school’s official registration, the program has continued for over 10 years. For students learning Japanese, the opportunity to experience the tea ceremony offers a meaningful and hands-on way to connect with the spirit and etiquette of traditional Japanese culture. 🍵✨

🌸Northern Valley Regional High School at Demarestでは、2012年に初めて茶道体験を導入し、2017年には正式に「表千家学校茶道登録校」となりました🍵

それ以来、毎年学年末に日本語クラスの一環として茶道体験を実施しており、登録前から数えると10年以上にわたって継続しています。

日本語を学ぶ学生たちにとって、茶道を通して日本文化の精神や礼儀を体験できることは、とても貴重で意義深い時間となっています✨
