Penn State University Chanoyu Club Activities

We had a wonderful tea class today as part of our Chanoyu Club activities 🍵

Students were divided into two groups—three performed temae (tea-making) in the tatami room while the others participated as guests. In the ryūrei (table-style) setting, everyone practiced basic procedures and prepared a bowl of usucha (thin tea) to enjoy. It was a joyful and meaningful time for all!✨

2つのグループに分かれ、畳のお部屋では3名が点前を担当、他の生徒たちはお客様として参加しました。

立礼スタイルでは割稽古を行い、それぞれ自分で一服のお茶を点てて自服。

和やかで学びの多い、楽しい時間となりました✨
