Japan Day

Event Date: 10/12/2025 In the season when chrysanthemums are fragrant, we held a demonstration and workshop at the Harriet Tubman Cultural Center in Columbia, Maryland. The event was attended by about 270 people. The visitors learned about the introduction of the tea ceremony and how to drink tea. At the workshop, some people used tea whisks to make matcha tea for the first time, and they were very happy with the valuable experience.

菊の花が香る季節となりましたメリーランド州コロンビアにあります「ハリエット　タブマン　文化センター」に於きまして、デモンストレーションとワークショップを開催しました。イベントには約２７０名の来場があり, 多くの方々に茶の湯に’ついて、お茶の頂き方などの紹介をしました。ワークショップでは初めて茶筅を使ってお抹茶を点てた方もおり、貴重な経験を大変喜んでおられました。
